Bombay's worst nighmare

This catastrophe was fated to open our eyes, to tear the blinders we consciously wore. We can’t look away now nor can we pretend everything is fine. We’ve finally come together now and lets vow to stay this way—United.

All over the net on news websites and social networking sites, people are arranging marches and walks and white t-shirt days! The thought I must say is noble, indeed, but what after that? After the candle light walk, we come home and then what?

Nothing concrete will change with a walk. The system will still be rotten. It will continue to spin in the stench of corruption. We have to channelise our anger and our spirit to bring about some tangible change. There are many ways to do this but so far I can only think of one…

Restructure The G*ddam System!

This might sound far fetched but haven’t we been pushed far enough?

I somehow feel a federal presidential government would do better for our country. A two-party system would keep fake ‘patriotic’ politician at bay. The umpteen numbers of political parties do more harm than good and ruthlessly carve our nation into groups. Our leader ought to be efficient, young, educated and a visionary.

Take a look at our ‘leaders’ now. Remember these are the people who represent us! I still can’t fathom the insensitivity of CM Vilasrao Deshmukh to tag along RGV and his actor son who I suppose got an assured role in the movie as a barter exchange. As for RR Patil the lesser said about that creep the better. Either the man is nervous of cameras to an extent that he has no voluntary control over his vocabulary or he’s just plain inhuman.

Let me go Nostradamus here a little.

The next elections will see Congress losing. BJP will come into power...until off course the next terror attack they most definitely will fail to avert. For the next elections, Congress will ride the ‘blame game’ and win. The vicious stinky circle will continue…

We have to break this circle of certain fall. I don’t know how to, nor do I know who will. But something has to be done.
