I took this picture about 5 months ago while waiting for the signal to turn green at St. Michael's Church, Mahim. This is a lil' Muslim girl outside a church selling nimbu mirchi for a mere 2 bucks. She doesn't go to school I asked. She was very pretty. I was on my way to Bandra to go shopping. I remember feeling very sad. There I was,cabbing it out to Bandra to indulge in some mindless retail-therapy. And there she was, a small girl much prettier than I can ever be, wearing someone else's discarded old clothes. It made me sad...it still does...
